So, I have been in contact with someone who can make pretty accurate face meshes of celebrity faces, and is open to being commissioned for them.

I am wondering if anyone is interested in something like this. The commission amount would be much higher than my normal though, as his prices are higher, though much more reasonable then others I have been in contact with.

Each character would be $150, which is the combined amount for his and my commissions.

What I am thinking is a kind of collective bank. I'll maintain a list here, and anyone who is interested in any face can sent me the name of the celebrity as well as the amount. Once $150 is reached, I'll forward the commission to him, and then convert it to daz before sharing it here.

Let me know if anyone is interested in something like this and if there are any questions.

Doing stuff of real people is a steep and risky slope. If someone makes picture of some celeb and she does not like it i can get traced back to you. There's a good reason why allot of artists don't do real people commissions unless they have specific permission from the subject.

It sounds reasonable. If three people pledge $50, or even 30 people pledge $5. And those can come in handy.

Yeah there's a few celebs that I've attempted to make and I'm never happy with the results, so I'll be down.

Zafo has a point, you do need to be careful with this. That said if you can get the legal go ahead... then go ahead.

Hmm I'm not too sure about this...

is this where the list starts ? if so i would suggest an up and coming star eillie bilish. If you catch my drift. She looks hot blonde but i think i would prefer the green hair look more iconic. if anyone else is mad thirsty they can help with the load, but if not i can make it full pledge.

I am intersted. The celebrity would be Alicia Vikander, i.e. the new Lara Croft. If necessary I would finance it alone.

it sounds like a great opportunity but you should consider the workload you have already before moving on to larger and different things. I'm not saying it can't be done but you'd need to balance so you don't end up backed up for months with commissions again

No interest from my side. Like Zafo, I think it could also be a copyright problem.

If you're willing to do it, I'll spend my money.
