In honor of our dollop of sunshine’s birthday, I gathered some insights about them.💛

There will be chances to interact with A all throughout Book Two, including scenes where you further shape your social dynamic with them and where they might voice an opinion on your romance route. Their relationship with your Returning Visitor is highly variable and one to watch! Let's see what else there is to learn about them.

(You can find their last birthday post: here.)

Question: "Is immortality a gift or a curse?"

Answer:

A peers up from the colorful sweetener packets they were sorting into piles, screwing their face up in mild confusion at this random question. "Are you bored?" they curiously ask before flicking a packet of cane sugar at you; it quickly slides across the counter, only stopped by your arm. "Because I've got like three boxes of these to sort out because Mal gave them to me all mixed up… But anyway, I'd almost want to re-gift immortality? Like, try it out then nah."

They half-heartedly continue their sorting, but their eyes soon return to where you're waiting.

"I think everyone around me passing away would ruin things," A elaborates. "All the traveling and adventures would get lonely. Could I opt out of it? Also, how would it work? Explain."

Question: "mc to j: our child's name is Goldie"

Answer:

J, after glancing between the MC and Goldie for a moment: She has your, uhm, she's soft like you...? 😳

The way J would take this^ a little too seriously is precious. A would joke by saying it's 'bring your kid to work day' every time Goldie and the MC stop by the station for a visit or a lunch date. They would be supportive in most cases since they think a pet would be good for J.

🌲 Book Two Teaser: A. Corvin will call out your MC, especially if they're being mean. 🌲

Judith takes her snack before venturing further into Turn the Page, which should give you some quiet once again, though A stays near the counter's edge for a moment. "What?"

"Hurting a kid's feelings is really hard to recover from. They'll internalize that stuff, but me?" A flashes an unkind smile, dimples adding an unsettling cuteness to it. "I won't. I'll be right here to call you out every time, [Name]."

"This isn't a daycare," you retort. "She can't hang out."

"Being in here does involve mingling with people, so maybe decide if you can handle it."

With that, A returns to the blender, leaving you by the counter in a stiff silence.

Question: "Is J's sibling friends with W? For some reason A gives me a  creepy/intriguing vibe, same as W. Also A mentions getting food from a friend while holding the diner bag."

Answer:

Hmm, what an interesting connection you made thanks to the extra cookies A got from the Fernweh Diner. 👀🍪 (Honestly, maybe we should let the W's creepy/intriguing vibe slide if they keep making oddly perfect hot drinks and give out treats to certain people.)

The sunshiny one 🌞 being friends with the dangerous, mysterious one 🚩? Hmm, we will have to see what the future holds, but I find your take on A to be really unique. They can be a little energetic; you will learn more in Book Two.

Those of you who have played the alpha content will have a more definitive answer; however, there are differing theories about this 'friendship'. Is it genuine? How do you think J feels about this dynamic? Mal and A are a bit of an odd fit; however, maybe A was persistent enough to wear down Mal's unnerving tendencies. (Also, there will be  a cute latte art scene based on my outline that I'm excited for you all to ~eventually~ read the variations for. :D)

🌲 Book Two Teaser: Flirting with a crushing A. Corvin. 🌲

"That was kind of hot—how you handled her…"

A's head instantly turns in your direction after your compliment, allowing you to witness the smile that blooms across their face.

"Oh, you like when I'm mean?" they tease you. "Good to know."

"You weren't mean; she was mean."

"And you're amazing," A replies while getting their bike ready to ride after snapping on their helmet. "So amazing, that I think you should come to dinner at my house tomorrow night. My mom asked me to pass this along, but I was going to anyway."

(You can trigger the crush based on a choice you, the reader, make in Book One!)

(This one features the optional A and B choice-triggered crush path, so keep that in mind.)

Question: "*MC pats B on the back* If you marry A and I get married to J  that'll make us like, bestie-spouse-sibling-in-laws or whatever its  called!"

Answer:

B almost choking on their chocolate milk causes your encouraging pat on the back to become a bit more forceful until they quiet down.

"We—we've been on, like, two (2) double dates so far??"

"Yeah, but it'd be cute," you reply with a mischievous smile. "What are your thoughts on Worvin versus Carrick? J seems to favor the latter."

Your smile only widens as B gives you a dumbfounded stare.

~

The MC and I are joking around. That would be adorable!

Imagine if B was the MC's maid of honor/best man and then the MC adopts a similar sort of role for when B gets married to A, assuming B survives J's shovel talk. Also, if they're okay with marriage, etc. 😌

🌲 Book Two Teaser: An Intriguing Choice! 🌲

#Hug A. "You don't need to be ashamed about who did it."

This choice option only appears if you've made the effort to befriend them.

I hope you've enjoyed these insights into A. Corvin! 💛🥰
