Me, after writing scenes where the MC and the RO(s) get interrupted by Mrs. Dorran, hoping that her loving warmth will outweigh what's happening:

In Mrs. Dorran's defense, she only does it intentionally on one (1) route, and you're staying in her house for free in an interestingly themed room! 😂 It's actually an intriguing detail because I know many of you replay with different ROs/MCs. I wonder if you can guess who's the target of Mrs. Dorran's well-timed interruption? Why did she do it? Maybe she's doing it out of care or something else…

Also, just to reassure you all, these little 'interruptions' aren't massive and happen close to the start of Book Two; there are plenty of moments ahead for you all! We're building anticipation. :D

I'm going to guess S (because that's her baby) but... she has kind of spoken up about the room thing with B in the beginning of book one... I could also see her getting a bit weirded out if JR both end up in the MCs bedroom having a "who's a better kisser" competition so that could also be an option. Or M of course. She probably doesn't know them like the "gang" so maybe her momma bear instincts would kick in for the MC... I suppose we'll see! I am curious how this JR route is going to play out for the straight players. The only relationship I know in media that has shown any type of straight trouples is in that movie "Savages" (very R rated movie but good if you like violence and sex) so I really have no idea how your going to write your version! I'm extremely curious how this is all going to play out and can't wait to see (read?) what comes next. 😃 ❤️💚🖤

I guess this just gives the MC incentive to either move into the cabin, the apartment in the bookstore, or maybe in with a RO 😘

I'm definitely all for the MC getting a place of their own, somewhere. Both of my MCs like the idea of living in the cabin--and it has nothing to do with all the dynamite. Well, maybe a little bit to do with it...

Ooh, I'm very 👀 at your different theories about Mrs. Dorran's well-timed interruption, but I especially like how 'momma bear instincts' can apply to her, potentially even extending to the MC since she's very generous with her heart/compassion/hospitality. I do agree that Mal might give her some pause as compared to another, more familiar RO. She will likely try to give them the benefit of the doubt. With JR, we can see a hint of Mrs. Dorran being concerned at the end of Book One until she notices the MC looking at /both/ of them; she doesn't want anyone's heart being broken (a love triangle.) 💜 I'm glad that you're excited about the JR poly dynamic! 🥰 Crafting it as a dynamic that grows and strengthens between the trio is very important to me since the MC helps J and R to challenge some of their past preconceptions about each other. Its build is key. We will get to see more of it throughout the series!

A change of venue, or at least an alternative, might be in the future for your returning visitors. 🌲 🧨 I'm glad that they have opinions on where to stay in town, although R might have something in mind for Naia /eventually/.
