Hi Returning Visitors,

I hope you're doing well.

Our next alpha content drop is today! 🎉 There is so much in store for you; I can't wait for you to continue uncovering more about Fernweh, its characters, its history, and even your Returning Visitors. Hopefully, you'll become further lost in the town.

✨ I will be direct messaging you on Patreon with the link and password information, so I request your patience, please, as I send out these messages. ✨

  • The guidelines for alpha content can be found: here along with how to add your Discord account. Please remember that this content is only for TFS patrons. 
  • There are some teasers/hints for the next drop at the end of this one that you can choose to view or not. I know some of  you might be curious, while others might prefer to go into the unknown.

I hope to have the next alpha content drop ready for TFS patrons to explore in September. This will work perfectly since we have the rest of the summer themed RO writings in August 😎 before sinking deeper into Fernweh's main story.

Aaaaaaa, I'm gonna have to go back and check to see if it changes depending on ~circumstances~ but, in my playthrough at least, I'm glad I knew who was calling to my MC at the end of the first alpha drop! Also sweet lil anxiety pup, I love you so much and I will protect you at all costs 😭💕

2023-07-07 00:48:02 YESSS! I've done a few runs already. SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS. SPOILERS. SPOILER WARNING. Is it weird to say that my first run (R route) felt a bit lonely because B was avoiding Jam and the doggo didn't want to go anywhere and I set A to a negative relationship. Oof. Plus, Jam wanted to leave and come back on her own terms, so being stuck in Fernweh was an extra emotional knock. B route w/ M complications was a doozy. Things are uncertain with B and then when January interacts with M at the diner, they're getting into each other's personal space. And M is looking out for January in their own way. A bit of whiplash between B's space and M's lack of space. S route - I am yelling about Mrs. D's preferential fresh fruit treatment in the note, what a great extra line. Mrs. D ships it so hard (kid who likes my kid, don't forget about your fruit <3). I also set A to friends for once and it was so sweet how enthusiastic they are to see January. I loooove that S is doing trials and wants to test the boundaries.

Me @ your use of ~circumstances~: 🧐👀. (I won't say, except that you're perceptive, and there is more variation than readers likely realize in the Intro.) She is so sweet yet anxious, my gosh. I love that you're willing to protect her at all costs though; she needs that kind of love. 🐕🥰 (You can get a bonus choice depending on your room theme, btw: Cat's Cradle, Zombie Zen, or Nautical Nap plus having a positive affinity with her.)

Response to myself, because I was playing the S route again with different choices (wanted to see if anything changed with a MC that wants to stay in Fernweh vs. MC that wants to leave) and realized that Mrs. D's line said "getting fruit FOR me" (pick her up some fruit) and I read it as "getting fruit FROM me" (MC gets fruit because she's Mrs. D's fav). One word off and the whole meaning changed.

(😏) I'm glad that the loneliness came through, if not felt heightened, when you combined those past choices together for Jam! The start of Chapter 1 is where we get our first clear glimpse into how B is handling the stay in Fernweh; there are levels of angst since friendship/romance makes a difference. In fact, it's entirely possible for B to not leave a note at all, which is just ouch. &gt;.&gt; (R will make it up to Jam soon!) 'A bit of whiplash between B's space and M's lack of space.' &lt;-- 👀 This in particular stood out to me. Mal always adds an element of intrigue into the RO routes, but there is an extra 'oomph' with B right now due to the slight distance paired with Mal now coming around more. It's an interesting role reversal. I like how you included 'in their own way' in regards to Mal's behavior in the diner. Was it a warning, advice, a trick? Those scenes largely vary based on affinity (they can be downright tense for some MCs); however, I'm glad that Mal mancers are sensing there's something more there--care. 👀 Ohmygosh, I grinned at both of your comments! You know, you're right though; she would be the type to ensure the MC has their favorite fruit on hand and is eating enough of it. I can imagine her stocking the fridge with that in mind. Also, yay for the adorable A. Corvin scenes! I love how you play it in different ways with them.
