Writing scenes with the dog can be so fluffy until you realize she probably won’t ever want to play fetch with a stick and will tend to stay close to the MC’s side. 🥺 The good news for those of you who love/like the puppy, is that you can also trigger scenes where she is learning to trust your MC more with time. You'll need to earn her trust. Maybe the two of them can bond over what happened in the first book?
