I was watching this on episode to episode release and it helped me so much with self discovery. I've always had a soft spot because they actually portrayed what my culture is like, I'm Iñupiaq, which is one of the Eskimos in Alaska. I'm glad it's gotten the traction it has over the years, cause not many people get exposed to what life is like up this way.

First time I watched this was in 2006/2007. I was in middle school and randomly stumbled across it, and immediately fell in love with the show. It’s still one of the best series I have ever watched. During lockdowns I bought a special edition boxset and rewatched it for the 4th time.
