(I'm not saying much about who or what he is or if he's real, although you can already easily guess this..or not.)

Did you see him in this form at the end of your playthrough of this update?

If not, try the other choice during the sex dungeon scene, then ponder which path you like. You'll start off differently in the next part of the story based on this. While I'm trying to keep these branches in the story manageable for me to make, I still really want them to feel like they matter in some way. This one will matter a lot.

I'm currently already deep into some renders for the next part of the story.(Some of them were supposed to be on this update.) I'm doing some bonus content on the side once in a while. I'm finishing up 2 Dreams(galleries) so I could release them before the end of this month.

PUBLIC VERSION

As discussed earlier, I'm planning on releasing the public version earlier - October 31 so I could push some promotional content for it. The public version has a few changes from what you played on the early access version. I don't want to bother you all with having to play it all over again so I'll detail the changes here so you can decide to skip it for now:

1.) As previously mentioned sound and music will be improved.

2.) The gallery called "Lineup" which you see in the main menu will be up and running. (This requires another fresh new game,(sorry) so if you aren't feeling it, I'll wait until the next update to see this.) If you've peeked in there, you'll see that each character you meet will have a sprite and they're all arranged like in a police lineup. Another thing I'm implementing is an ability to unlock alternative sprites based on what you see in the game. For instance - you automatically unlock Officer Mike's default Uniformed sprite when you first meet him. If you fantasize about him, you'll unlock a shirtless sprite. You can then select that sprite so he'll appear as that in the Gallery, eventually leading to a police lineup where they're all naked. Of course it contains the usual gallery stuff - Unlocked CGs and a replay function so you can replay those key scenes.

3. (SPOILER) Some tweaks in the script and a few added shots. No major changes here. Just smoothing out that part when Dr. Kent's voice keeps intruding your dream with whoever you picked to hang out with. The last time you see blue Dr.Kent he was haunting you, now he's just talking...and making a little bit of sense. Seems disconnected, like it skipped a few steps. There will be some tweaks, mainly of MC noticing this and is confused about it instead of being dismissive. Also replacing the "Dr. Kent" with just "Familiar Voice" in the tag, so you don't immediately know its him. But you'll still feel that its him at the end of the scene. Overall, that scene ends up the same way as in the early access but its more cohesive in the public release.

4. lots of graphical corrections - mainly Evan's nipples being too high. :) and other weird graphics stuff that I'm catching.

Some Google Drive - Tips

Anyone having trouble downloading from Google drive because of the error above? Here's how to deal with it.

1. Once you've reached this error after trying to download a file, lets call it File A, File A will now be found under the "Shared With Me" of your google drive. Make sure your google account was logged in while trying to attempt to download the file for this to happen.

2. Go to your google drive under "Shared With Me." File A should be there. You still can't download it.

3. But......If you download it together with another file....then you'll bypass this error. Make sure you have another file in your "Shared With Me" that's small like a text file to use as a dummy file. Select both the dummy file and File A, and right-click download. Google will zip them before initiating a download, and for some reason doesn't check if the individual files are already exceeding the quota.

4. You'll need to unzip it once downloaded.

5. Still working as of writing this. I'm doing this on a browser on a PC, I'm not sure if it will have the same behavior anywhere else.

I brought it up because googledrive is my main file host for cloud cuckoo land and thought some of you might already have experienced this.

Am I assuming correctly that Aaron and Kents coloration matches the prisoner/guard uniforms for a reason? When Aaron was teased I wanted to remark how similar he looks to the doctor and I guess I have my answer now. I thought that the update was good since especially in differentiating the three protagonists. Evan feels very much like the default/vanilla option and a bit bland. Accordingly I found the conversation with Carl great since it's so different with all protagonists but still communicates the same information. I also found him well done as well, normally his character type is done in a rather melodramatic manner, he feels like an actualised person who does the best he can in his situation. There was also a problem I noticed after the Tarriq convo all three have the same "is he gay/does he know I am" monologue, even Devin when for him it should probably be "is he even into guys". Not exactly a mistake since its all colloquialisms, but still noticeable. Another thing that felt weird to me was David talking about getting Lances approval that felt weird since he interacts so differently with him in comparison to Evan and Devin. Another in consistency is that the way Devin and David talk about their past relationships to their friends in contrast to their thoughts about them in Kent's office, but that's probably intentional.

Thank you so much for this! There's definitely a connection between the doctor and Aaron but that's all I'm going to say for now. The prison/guard colors matching aaron/kent colors is a coincidence but I like your observation. Evan is definitely the very vanilla route and that was intentional. I do get some feedback that he does seem very safe and people want some kind of spice with him so now I'm planning on some things for him that are unusual later on. That error in the monologue from Devin after the Tarriq convo was definitely a careless mistake from me. I'm looking into that entire sequence(the hangouts+dream) to differentiate them more and iron out all those things I missed. (Same with the David monologue after Lance.) Replaying these parts right now. Thank you for pointing this out. This helps me a lot. The convo from Devin and David about their past relationships to their friends contrasting too much with their unwillingness to talk about it with Dr. Kent was intentional. But now that you mention it, there's too much of a jump and they're suddenly willing to talk about it. It's too abrupt of a change. I'll definitely try to address this. Thank you so much for this, Snowish.
