Hello guys, I promised an early access update on the 3rd week of August which has already passed. I'm very sorry about this, I rewrote and rearranged parts of my script, particularly some major points that are part of the next update. This is already done, but it did delay my renders for a significant time. My new ETA for the update will be on September.

Rewards are still in progress (I'm still lacking a few for July.) For August, I've decided to still base it on the July polls to complement the content from those.

In the meantime here's a sneak peek of what I've experimented on with sprites. This is WIP and will not yet be in the next update due to it being very unpolished at this stage.

I think that experiment is looking pretty good! Adds a nice touch imo.

What do you use to create the characters and movement?

Hi. Sorry it took a while to answer this. So the characters were made in Blender but there are loads of other software and plugins needed to complete it. The hair is in blender but with an add-on called hair tool. The models themselves are made first with another blender add-on called make human but they undergo a lot of other things in other software to complete them. For example: Zbrush for sculpting to refine the shapes especially the face, substance painter to refine the textures, etc. There are other ways to do this but I already have these software in hand so that's why I'm using them. Then you need to rig them to a skeleton - that way you can animate them. There are a few add-ons in blender for this, and I recommend using one as it automates a lot of the process. The sprite seen here inside renpy is a video file - I made the animations in blender and rendered it there. Part of the reason I'm not yet doing this in the actual VN is because of how much work it needs and the time it takes to render which is a lot - could easily cover 3 scenes worth of work. Another consideration is the size.
