'Eleanor' was my first foray into a fantasy character.  She actually began as a Fairy but quickly I learned that my old GPU could not handle the wings easily associated with the skin textures that Eleanor had.

I then compromised on the "Elf" she is today, learning about hair correctives and the extra strain on a GPU that essentially her 'second skin' gives due to the unique features she has.

By this point I had not named her but the model created just felt perfect. I began outlining a story I wanted to tell but the moment I tried to start rendering it would almost always certainly load on the CPU and I had to move on from the idea purely due to a hardware limitation.

This is where the name "Eleanor" came in.  'Gone in 60 Seconds' is easily one of my favorite Nicholas Cage movies and the car he pursues but is unable to successfully obtain has the name 'Eleanor.'  The name felt appropriate as a nod to the fact I needed more time to properly tell and render her story, while also avoiding cutting corners or short changing her.  She felt 'unobtainable' at the moment, particularly due to the GPU shortage.

Eleanor's powers and ability to change sizes of herself and others is not clearly defined simply because she is not going to be limited. Her demeanor is playful and her more carefree attitude comes from a seeming imperviousness to danger.  In the story we will explore that both as how she lives along with how her way of life can be challenged.

I plan to tell her story soon, and as I have built skills for optimizing renders and more carefully thought out the story, it won't be much longer.

Eleanor, like all of my OC's, is somehow derived from my time in rendering and she especially has helped push me forward in my journey to improve as a 'Renderer of Giant Ladies.'
