Patreon Payment Issue /支払い問題 / 支付問題) (Patreon)

Hi all,

As Patreon announced, they have a "declined payment" status this month. Many authors in the public community said it was caused by Patreon moving their deposit address to Ireland suddenly. Thus, some financial firms treat the payment of this month's subscription as fraud. and there's a possibility that paying to Patreon is no longer viable with the same cards.

If anyone encounters this issue and has no other payment method, Please leave a comment below this post. I'll try to come up with a solution for you.

Currently, I have opened a Ko-Fi page (the links to Pix's profile; I can't type the full name and URL for Pix) for handling these issues.

Please do let me know for all failed payments in July and August; it will be treated as a continuous subscription and will not break the continuous subscription benefit once you recover the payment; there is no need to compensate the July fee.

If Patreon double-charged you or charged you an international fee, please let me know too; I will try to handle it.

個人感想
我作為資科+商科出身的人，對這公司己經由憤怒變成無語
我真的沒看過有機構可以在付款這塊搞出這種問題。傳統來說這歸類為Fintech的東西是一定要非常小心，像這案例明顯沒有認真測試和風險評估繼而failed做成大量損失，傳統金融機構就得按sla賠償。
而這公司的態度就是發email叫你自己通知客戶讓客戶搞定
看來我得更新一下我對服務條款的認知
