Dasha, you need to check out True Romance. Written by Tarantino. It's an amazing movie with a little of everything in it. You will love it.

Thats MR. Baldamort

Good morning everyone! Dasha, if you happen to come across this comment, I want to throw a recomendation down. An amazing 2001 movie called "A Knights Tale" starring Heath Ledger, who you know as Joker. As always I'm excited for more Game of thrones for Sunday, take care of yourselves and Happy Holidays to the Dasha crew!

Heat. Absolutely. Very loosely based on one insane incident. Master class acting by several professionals.

Eddie Perkins

Heat is so good. I have been asking for that forever.

Bill Bowron

Don’t think it’s gonna win this poll, but if you end up watching Once Upon A Time In Hollywood at some point, I highly recommend doing a little research on Charles Manson and the Manson “family” as well as Sharon Tate. Also, would love to see A Few Good Men (1992) on a future drama/action poll. :)

Mr TV Eye

+1 It's, even though only written by him, one of the best Tarantino movies IMO.

Joseph Powell

From Dusk Till Dawn for some future poll. Heat for sure on this one.

Alex

One thing I know for sure about this poll is that 6 great movies is going to lose. But hopefully some or all will get a new chance in a later poll.

ButtercupsTrueLove

That's a good suggestion. Just a read of Wikipedia page on the Manson Family should suffice without spoiling the movie. Those who lived through those times or heard about them later already have the context for the characters.

ButtercupsTrueLove

If one or more of the runners-up are close in the poll, I think Dasha states that she may watch and react to them too, but may depend on what other scheduled reactions are upcoming.

Jeromy M

OUATIH is IMO Tarantinos Magnum Opus, but not suited for the average viewer. Heat is 'the' heist movie, I hope it wins this poll.

TT

Uncut Gems is easily my best pick among these. But, Chinatown has its appeal as well.

Has Dasha ever seen Body Heat (1981)? That might be something to put into a future Crime Poll.

Jeffrey Miller

Some great choices here! Due to my policy of only allowing myself to vote for half the number of options (+1 if odd number of choices) I have to vote for "Heat", "Once Upon a Time...", "Uncut Gems", and "Casino". All of those are at least are 8/10 in my opinion!

Unrelated but I am just going to throw this one out there. "Remember the Titans". Every high school kid in America during the 2000's watched this movie when their teacher didn't have a lesson and just put something on for the students to watch. Also stars Denzel Washington!

Thats MR. Baldamort

Oh yes! I too second, Rememeber the Titans! Great movie and based on a true story as well!

Treetop Jones

Probably majority of voters don't know older films, so they don't get votes sadly. #Chinatown

Treetop Jones

#MovieSuggestion "Blue Velvet" ( 1986 )

Shehab Dawoud

Speaking of crime dramas, isn't it about time you got back into the world of The Godfather, with Part II? It's been a while since you did the first one, and many of us think the second one is even superior.

All these movies are great. Im a big fan of Uncut Gems, so intense all the way!
