Ooooh! Good thing you mentioned sequels and how they can sometimes be a let down and whatnot. The movie I’ve been cheerleading here lately at this time of writing, Conan the Barbarian (1982) actually has a sequel to it and it’s called “Conan the Destroyer (1984)” They both have Arnold but in my opinion, Conan the Destroyer (1984), while the title sounds epic, it’s not a terrible movie at all and it’s a pretty good adventure movie but it is definitely NOT on the level of the first one, Conan the Barbarian (1982). To put it in perspective, I would give Conan the Barbarian either a 9 or 10/10 and while I do like Conan the Destroyer (mostly for nostalgia), I’d give it a 6/10. The first movie is rated R and is more brutal and powerful in its storytelling and it has one of the greatest musical scores ever, you’ll definitely notice. The sequel is rated PG (technically PG-13) so it’s more watered down and the music is ok but not even close to as epic as the music from the first one. So if you watched “Conan the Barbarian (1982)” I wouldn’t even be upset at all if you didn’t do a reaction to the sequel or the 2011 reboot with Jason Mamoa because they’re both mediocre at best. But yeah! Just a heads up, in case you ever do “Conan the Barbarian (1982)” that way you don’t accidentally watch the sequel by accident. 😅 Just some clarity. 🙂

Agreed, watch the original and then no need to touch the series again. And yes, Conan the Destroyer is bad, but it shines in comparison to Red Sonia. Oh my....
