Loved your reaction to this classic horror film, Dasha. I used to have Freddy nightmares back in the old days, but now I attack my nightmares head on. I've woken up by kicking the wall a time or two. I'm glad I got to watch along with the whole movie, since I've been hating my streaming services lately. They never seem to have what I'm looking for. Nancy follows that slasher film trope of the Final Girl, used in movies you've seen like 'Alien' and 'Train to Busan'. Nancy is a character in the third film, but no one knew she lived until that movie came out. The best horror films never answer all your questions, but make more. Fun fact (because that's what I do): The sleep doctor was played by comedian Charles Fleischer, who was the voice of Roger Rabbit.
