I really enjoyed Dasha's real time reactions. As for Paul Krendler's 'dinner scene', Dasha can search YouTube for 'hannibal the brain scene' for a behind the scenes look and on-set interview at the dinner table with the late Ray Liotta as he talks about his amazement at seeing how it's all done with green screen while he watches the technicians prep the scene before the camera rolls. Those large hogs are some species of boar. Some wild hogs develop sharp fangs as defensive weapons against predators. In Africa, the warthog has evolved tusks that grow from teeth inside of their mouths and curls outwards and up to defend against leopards, lions, and hyenas. People who have been attacked by a warthog say that the creature employs a rapid twisting motion of its head that literally shreds anyone or anything in front of it. I find the relationship between Agent Starling and Dr. Lecter really interesting. It doesn't seem sexual in nature although it's certainly a fantasy of some sort on Lecter's part. In "Hannibal", we see the motives for the other protagonists - Mason Verger's is pure sadistic revenge for the disfigurement that resulted from Lecter exacting punishment upon the child molester. For Paul Krendler, it's career advancement and greed that forges an alliance with Verger. For Detective Pazzi, it was greed and vanity that saw him try to keep his young wife happy with a lifestyle he could ill afford.

I was proud that Dasha never broke eye contact. It was even hard for me to watch when I first saw it, and I love Horror, or, as she said, a Thriller. Wild boars are also known as Eurasian hogs, razorbacks, or feral swine. They are native to Europe and Asia, but those were Russian wild boars with 4 inches of tusks, so I read.
