Haha, Matt was so stoked on the response you guys gave to his last process gif that he's gone and made another one for the comic going up tomorrow (Review of Lucie Makes Porn .com) This documents how he colors the comic once I give him my final line work. Maybe I should try making some screencaptures as I layout and draw the comic so he can make one of these things out of my work....

Life continues to be Very Strange since my last big personal update. For a lot of the same reasons I wrote about before, to be honest life's a bit hard right now. I'm having "a bit of a wobbly" as my Father-in-Law would say. But I can see a ray of light in the distance, so I'm trying to just make it through one day at a time.

Modern life is so weird. Offline you can be in the thick of crisis but when the entire livelihood of you and your spouse and your cat depends on you Dancing Online you just have to keep posting jokes and silly pictures to your social media accounts as if your brain isn't on fire. People follow my comics and social media accounts because they want to laugh or learn or be entertained in some way. Watching your Internet Clown blubber is kind of a buzzkill, y'know? And it's just an invitation for more harassment anyway. 

But on a positive note, we had dinner on our porch last evening. Matt made us a meal of mussels and broth that we sopped up with torn pieces of baguette and I haven't felt that happy for months.

Mussels, yo.

Who was the first person to look at that shiny, sharp black shell and think "I bet there's something edible in there," and then after praying it open and seeing that globby, intestinal-looking piece of fleshy snot thought "Yup. This is what I want to put in my mouth. This is a good idea."? A hero, that's who. A goddamn hero.
