Dang, so after the first homework assignment for Danielle Corsetto's Illustration Class (which I didn't even fully complete) I completely fell behind. No good excuses, just didn't balance my work and life obligations adequately. But! I have been saving each lesson and homework assignment so that I could eventually catch back up! And you know what? I DECIDED THAT IT IS TIME TO CATCH UP.

For the Economy of Line and FACIALS FACIALS FACIALS lesson, Danielle asked us to draw all the expressions on the sheet you see above (unless you are reading this in your email, in which case the image is below) and also to draw 50 pairs of eyes, which I am going to work on this week.

Actually, wanna help me do my homework? Take some pictures of your eyes (the both of them) making some different expressions and post a link to them here in the comments section and maybe I will draw them! If I draw your eyes, I'll write your first name and first letter of your last name next to them and post it on Patreon when I've finished.

My reservation of Jenny Lawson's "Furiously Happy" audiobook finally came up at my library and oh my gosh. She's talking about some mental health stuff that is hitting so close to home, it's like some of my most private thoughts are coming out of a stranger's mouth. I mean, it's a funny book, don't get me wrong. Fucking hilarious, if I'm gunna be totally honest. But, dang, I wasn't expecting her to open up about her mental health struggles. I'm really glad she is, it means a lot to this girl in Portland, trying to catch up on her homework.
