Ok. So. Here is the thing.

I'm really, really proud of Drawn to Sex: The Basics and it has been so incredibly validating to hear from people saying they wish they'd had this book when they were learning about sex and also that Responsible Adults are actually giving it to teens they know as a resource they trust to teach them about sex ed basics. That is such an incredible honor and so fucking humbling.

I'd really like this book to reach as many people as possible who could benefit from having it and, for better or for worse (mostly worse), Amazon is the most effective way to connect readers to it. When a book reaches 50 reviews on there, The All-Powerful Algorithm starts recommending it to more users as they're surfing around the site, which increases its chances of being seen and, hopefully, bought.

We're at 20 reviews right now.

If you have read our book and feel up to reviewing it, Matt and I would be so grateful!

I'm not angling for five star reviews or anything! Please just share your honest opinion so folks can make an informed decision when they're considering whether they wanna pick up a copy or not.

You can read the book for free at your local library and if they don't currently have it you can always put in a book request with them.

You can also buy it from your nearby comic, book, or sex shop, or online at the following places:
Physical Book: Powell’s, Amazon, Simon & Schuster, and Barnes and Noble
eBook: Directly from us and Comixology

Thank you so much for reading! And if you actually go write a review? DOUBLE THANK YOU.

Done! I'll admit here that I haven't read it yet myself, but having read all of Oh Joy and knowing your style, I'm certain I can recommend it without qualm or reservation regardless. If you did it and think it's good, then it must be bloody brilliant.

Done! I have provided it to my teenage transgender daughter, after having already pointed her at several of your educational comics. :)

Awww, haha, thank you! Normally I wouldn't encourage someone to review a book they haven't actually read yet, but yeah: it's all the same sex ed comics that are already on the site, so you've read it ;)

Oh my gosh!! I'm honored!! Let me also recommend Girl Sex 101 by Alison Moon and kd diamond http://girlsex101.com It's specifically geared towards queer women (cis AND trans), but I think the information on sexuality, anatomy, and safer sex practices would still be a really wonderful resource for a teenage trans girl. They very deliberately address all those subjects from multiple perspectives, including transgender women. Oh right, I reviewed it a while ago! Haha, here: https://www.ohjoysextoy.com/girlsex-101/

Thanks! I'll have her take a look! You do great work. I'm so happy to be able to help, in a small way, enable it.
