I'm so in love with the re-modeled shipping station that Steve and I set up at Periscope.* This is going to make life sooooooo much easier. I just... I honestly can't keep from staring at it lovingly every time I walk by it. I'm so flippin' proud.

*(NOTE FROM 2018: The studio was renamed to Helioscope a couple years ago)

Another week that feels like it only lasted a couple days. Capped it off with a Friday night pizza dinner with Dylan and Katie.

Working on Bucko has really given me a drive again. Doing some loose math, if I can do at least two pages a week, I'll get the art done in about 10 months.*

Feels goooooood.

*(NOTE FROM 2018: It took just over a year, I  think)

Clearing one of the many little things off my plate that have been stressing me out for the last month or so. Still have a few more of these illustrations for other people (not paying work) that I gotta get through.

The morning and afternoon were deliciously lazy, though. Full of reading, boning, coffee shop sitting, library visiting, grocery shopping, Atlantis: Stargate watching and food eating.

I'm pretty content.

Folding laundry. I wanted to get more done today but I can't say that I feel that bad about it.

At least I went over to Lindsey's apartment to watch some sweet, sweet Teen Mom. My god, that show makes me feel so good about my life decisions.

Some days I don't really have words.

I wish I could draw faster.

I thought it would take me an hour and a half to ink page 23 of Bucko, but it honestly took all. day. long. Now I'm a day behind schedule for penciling page 24.

 Sigh.

What impressed me right away was the choice of art around your work area AND Eleanor Roosevelt on your computer screen. Great inspirations all around!
