Hey friends

I hope you are having a great day.

July has been such a short month, I can’t believe we are at 28th already!

First things first: I'm sorry that I haven’t updated Kinky Fight Club yet. I'm a bit late because I focused too much on Dungeon Coup and kinda forgot to start animating early.  But, in the past weeks I have been reading about animations, since I couldn’t find a decent animator that I could afford, I decided to try to improve my animating skills.

So I changed the way I animate stuff. I don’t wanna go into details cause it’s long and boring, but starting on the next update animations should be a bit better, and I will be following the“professional” rules when animating.  All in all, animations will have a better base time, and more keyframes (up from 3 to 5). I also plan (eventually) to end up remaking most of the initial animations since 2018. To start with, the first set of animations that I kinda remade are standing handjobs. They aren’t exactly the same, but they follow the same general idea with a better implementation.

I still haven’t finished the second animation set for Kinky Fight Club, but I'm sure I can get everything done and patched up for next Tuesday or Thursday. (This includes checking all the achievements to work as expected)

Now, onto Project Nexus!

I found a fix for the crash! Yay me! One less problem to worry about!

These last weeks I have been working on worldbuilding and making sure no more random memory leaks or crashes occur. (this last part took more time than expected, but better to be safe than crashy)

I also added a bunch of clothing pieces to the game, most of these made by Kvotha, the amazing 3d modeler I've been working with for the past 6-ish months. (So there is going to be a lot of high-quality clothing and textures ready for the first demo)

And also I have completely finished the player’s house (also known as “The loft”).

Now I'm working on making “The Gateway”, which is going to be the first area the players encounter when entering the Nexus. This area is like a big train station, where you will get your introduction to the game before traveling to the lower districts. You will also be able to see the city from far away, and the difference between the lower-class traveling and the high-class traveling, with armed security guards that won’t let you into the high-class area without proper credentials.

(There is still much to do here)

My plan for the first Project Nexus demo is to have 5 areas ready:

  • The Gateway
  • The Loft
  • The lower districts (outdoor area)
  • The offices (dungeon)
  • Ordo’s bar

These five areas can make for a decent gameplay demo showing the most basic aspects of the game (exploring, interacting, fighting) along with the basic NSFW content (only flirting and fucking for now, as everything else is going to be developed later)

And the usual question of “when” will the first demo be ready? well, I don’t really know, as, the more I do, the more I find I have to do! But when I asked you guys about it, most of you voted for me to take the time I need, so that is what i'm doing, the first demo will be out when it is out, I can’t say an exact date but Im thinking around october, after I finished with Dungeon Coup.
