Alright! I'm almost done sculpting the mesh for the new Unreal Character - I've been tinkering with different variations of the design, and one of them is which one do you guys prefer? Long or short cape? As always, Bonus points for explaining why -

Short seems like it will not collide or clip that much but long looks better... Maybe if the "Alpha" would fade to the lower end of the cape... You know, like a fading cape with signs of damage.

I think I'm late to the party, but my philosophy with capes: the larger the cape, the bigger the character's ambitions. Kings wore long capes because of having a lot of power in their own ways or they look more 'kingly' sort of speak. Whereas soldiers may opt for short capes as capes go, allowing them the movement freedom they need for their battles, as well as showing the faction they may represent. I prefer the latter in this scenario. 👀

No problem man, thanks for joining the squad, glad to have ya here! Also, I love the idea of the cape size being directly proportional to the character's ambition, I'm going to use that logic from now on, love this idea, thanks for sharing and leaving a comment :)
