Hey Squad, just wanted to fill you guys in on some minor drama I'm having with YouTube right now - This isn't particularly new, but sometimes YouTube will accuse my content of breaking community guidelines, and I have to use my time writing out thoroughly worded appeals as to why the accusations are false. In this case, they thought the Blender Hotkeys > ZBrush video was inappropriate. I just wanted to share my response to the claim with you guys here so you know what sort of conversations I'm having with YouTube:
---
Dear YouTube Moderation team,
I hope you are doing well, I believe there has been a mistake. I already mark all my videos as "Not made for kids", this is an educational channel specifically for teaching people 3D modeling and animation, and the female body demonstrated in this video has no explicit sexual genitalia sculpted or modeled on it. There are no nipples, there are no external groin organs, this is a flat base body with the exact same shape you would see on someone wearing a bodysuit or a swimsuit.

Furthermore this body is in a static standing pose with no motion. It's not moving in anyway that hints towards any sexual innuendo - On the contrary, there are "many"  videos currently on YouTube with explicitly inappropriate innuendo on bodies much more sexually provocative than the one demonstrated in my video. If videos like Cardi B's WAP are considered age appropriate, I see absolutely no reason why this basic 3D body is more dangerous or damaging to kids.
---

So, that is my response to the claim, and it's very likely that YouTube will ignore me, and keep marking my videos like this, but I firmly believe that sculpting with a bare base body is THE best practice when it comes to education in 3D modeling. I'm not going to change or reduce the quality of my content to appease some sort of double standard. There are videos out there that are more inappropriate than mine and they don't get marked, so I'm not going to sit here and pretend like we are harming the minds of young YouTubers.

Anyway, that's what's going on today, it's kinda scary honestly knowing that at any point YouTube could just shadow ban or demonetize anything on your channel for arbitrary reasons. If it wasn't for you guys here, we would have absolutely no safety net from YouTube aiming the gun at us. So, thank you so much for being here, you guys really are the last line of defense from this stuff. I'll do my best to keep up the good fight, but I wanted you guys to know what's taking place behind the scenes -

Oh wow. Hopefully, they're more reasonable than Patreon who don't really seem to listen to a counterargument.

Vampires or on the take from someone not liking the quality instructions you put out. I've seen three times as worse on YT so they really are reaching here.
