So, now that we're nearly back in Anime, and I've been preparing for the next few months, and I was wondering how interested you guys would be in learning how to use the Special Effects that a lot of Anime use during fights - Stuff like this: https://ibb.co/P4q1Gcn

I've always used the default effects for my games before, but after seeing some FX animation packs we could download, the urge to try them out has definitely crossed my mind lol. Though the effects packs cost some money, so it does cost a bit to download and try them out. So, what do you guys think?? This would come sometime after the Anime Shader series is over -

(The packs cost $20 to $35 dollars for a personal license, but the type of license we would need to put them in multiple games is $200)

For what it is worth a lot smoke dust (and sometimes fire) tend to be grease pencil - 2.5d effect. So it might be better to look at what that workflow is. Here are some free FX tutorials, but I image this would need its whole sub series covering various elements. Some free tutorials I'm tracking are: Explosions(3D) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fE-uDqBpXxI Fire Tornado (3D) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2su7BLdow5U Sword Trails (3D) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzwp-ng-f1Y&list=PLqsjJA96sclW-Xo2iYh8F0swVmLVOF7E8&index=10&t=6s Fire (3D) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3T2Acc98E1Y&list=PLqsjJA96sclW-Xo2iYh8F0swVmLVOF7E8&index=2&t=585s Lightning (3D) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxJtiZf1TKg&list=PLqsjJA96sclW88Sdq7NQragPJELpriZ2Q&index=29 Another Explosion Workflow (3D) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyIPkIfkdC8&list=PLqsjJA96sclW88Sdq7NQragPJELpriZ2Q&index=74

I'll definitely have to look into this then - Thank you for providing so much awesome useful information! It's real cool to see grease pencil used in this way - It's not something I've spent a lot of time practicing, so it's cool to see these kinds of utilities for it :) Much appreciated-!
