Well Squad, it's been one hell of a week. I wanted to make sure I had the Anime shader down before we went into the modeling series. I still haven't finished retopologizing/shading the ponytail, but you can see what our new Shader looks like when applied to our Old Model so far. I haven't adjusted any of her normals yet. This is just the RAW shader being applied to our model with no adjustments.

Working with this Shader has really opened my eyes to possibilities I hadn't considered before. For the first time ever, we finally have an art style that looks pretty good, AND, is super easy and fast to implement. The shader doesn't require any UV mapping, so you can skip the entire texturing/uv mapping process if you are in a hurry. Actually, nothing on Exa is UV mapped yet, so what you see in the shader is without any texturing techniques. It's all calculated by where the light source is-

I'm really looking forward to creating rigged/animated characters in this art style for the community. And, I think we're going to create a set. You guys voted Fantasy over Sci-Fi. So, I've been building concepts and designs for a Fantasy Genre Character Set. We're going to create 14 Characters in this set:
1: Assassin
2: Mage/Witch
3: Druid
4: Berserker
5: SwordMaster
6: Archer
7: Angel
8: Biship
9: Princess
10: Prince
11: Knight
12: Queen
13: King
14: Joker

We'll be voting soon over which character you'd guys would like us to start creating first next year. I think the designs are gonna look really nice in this art style, and it will be a very useful character set for anyone wanting to do a Fantasy genre project-

Anyway, that's the kind of stuff we're going to be moving toward next year, hope you're as excited about it as I am. Just one more tutorial series, and we'll start creating a lot more cool free stuff for the Blender community :)
