Alright, so, the results are in. Looks like most of the squad is interested in Fantasy Animations, so I'm going to take that into account as I begin to plan our options. Fantasy is a pretty wide genre. The difference between animating a Bow and a sword are much bigger than the difference between animating different type of guns. So, it's gonna be quite the project. BUT, I also think it's going to be extremely useful once we get most of those animations mapped out for anyone who needs them -

I'm really trying to make sure that by the end of next year, we have an extremely well-oiled system ready to pump out new characters and animations as fast and efficiently as possible.

Part of this involves figuring out the Anime Shader. I just started trying learning how to do it today, but once I've perfected it, well be able to create short animated cut-scenes very quickly and with a distinct art style-

Above is the first attempt at doing a Japanese Anime style shading for our character. I still need to figure out how to do the outline, and make sure the outline tapers and hugs around the corners. But, that's what we got so far. Hope you're looking forward to it when it's done :)

Nice :D Motion Capture wasn't really in my interests, at least for now, since I'm currently not interested in investing in it, but Anime Shading is my main focus. Looking forward to hear what approaches you will show us :D

I appreciate you being so patient while we get through the Animation Series :) I'll definitely be showing you guys how to recreate my technique for the shader once I've perfected it!

Thank you! I'll be sure to check all of those out! I knew about the first 3, but I never saw the last one with Gibli trees and grass. That'll definitely be important when we get to filling in an environment around the character-
