Ittttt's November! And I definitely feel it this week; I'm currently dressed in two layers with a sweater, sweatpants, and long thick socks drinking hot miso soup. I swear it was in the 70's just a week ago and now here we are in the 50's. Georgia is so weird, but fall is finally in full swing here, creeping towards a colder, drier winter.

But let's hop up to Virginia for a moment... We shot this set alongside Justin Sellers so many years ago now. These photos took my breath away, honestly. Her and his shots from this day will probably remain some of my favorites forever.  I've actually been thinking about the black long sleeve dress with the white cuffs lately - where the hell is that thing? I need to find it. It was so fun and comfy. The vintage peach gown I'm wearing in the sunflower field is a Gunne Sax dress that unfortunately doesn't zip up so well anymore (this waist has gone through a bit of a thickening since these days). Vintage dresses are always so small, it's not so easy to find ones I can fit into anymore. Meh. But at least I have clients and friends that I can photograph in them... or I can make it seem purposeful and elegant with an exposed back, haha.

This era may have very well been the prime of my modeling. But... maybe not! I see some 30- and 40-year-old models lately still completely kicking ass and killing it. Who's to say? I'm 28 now, as of a few weeks ago. So young, yet so old, eh?

Cheers. We're almost to 2024. What are your plans for the month? Stay warm out there!
