Ah, the session that led to my very first, and hopefully last, sunburn of 2023. I'm usually so good about protecting my fair, sensitive skin, but the excitement of this day took over, I guess!

I hadn't done any duo modeling underwater in a year now; I used to do it a lot back when I was booked underwater more, pre-pandemic, but I hadn't had the pleasure much lately. I noticed Petra had posted about doing her very first underwater photoshoot soon, so I asked who with, and she invited me along! I need all the underwater practice I can get lately with such little opportunity to do them, so I had no problem dedicating a morning to it. We ended up having to reschedule at first, but I am so glad it worked out in the end!

The photographer, Jeri, was someone I had never worked with before, and she told me this was only her second time photographing underwater. She had a neat little Olympus, I believe, and even though it kept giving her some storage difficulties, she managed to deliver us a ton of images with a few SD changes! They're not the clearest, most color accurate things in the world, but I am happy with quite a few of them as well as with a chance to teach my knowledge of the element to some fellow creators.

For our first look, Petra and I decided to both grab the most vintage white flowy dresses we each had. They went absolutely perfect together. This is just a small taste of the session. So much more to come! I liked the natural moody vibe to a lot of these. Petra was still getting used to the water, but she really improved a lot as the shoot went on!
