Well, this was a fun first! I don't get to experience too many "firsts" these days, and I've experienced three in just the past few weeks. It's refreshing.

Lauren happened to notice that all of the buses were parked in a shuttle lot near her house for the summer. So, we decided to take advantage of the nifty backdrop and do a photoshoot there! We are actually considering going back because we had brought a few different outfit changes for me, but we ended up chasing daylight and getting carried away with this fun glistening fashion look I threw together. To really appreciate the aesthetics, you'll have to wait until I release some colored images, but these turned out so interesting.

This was the last set we executed before wrapping and calling it a day. We waited for it to get dark enough for all the streetlights to turn on. Once they did, I leaned up against one and took advantage of how the light would drip down across all the curves and shadows. The color on these was super weird with the white balance and overwhelming yellow tones, so I suggested that Lauren try editing them into black-and-white images. She texted me saying that was indeed the way to go, and I definitely agree! These almost look like marble statues to me. Wow.

Oh yeah, and let me say, she got on these fast! Girl sent me 81 flippin' images in less than 12 hours! What!? I don't know how she does it, man. Bravo.
