2023 thus far...let's see...

So far this year, I've managed to complete one book (an educational one at that), I have successfully practiced yoga 4-5 times a week every week, I filmed my first ever visualizer by myself with the help of my partner, I released this year's first single, I photographed my first newborn session, and I've slowly begun setting up travel plans.

I'd say that's some pretty good success for 34 days into the year! How's it looking over there for you?

I think I may need to do another post soon explaining just how much I really admired, appreciated, and learned from the book I finished in January. Educational books take a bit more out of me to read than fun fiction stories, but they're so damn enlightening if you can manage to push through.

Looking back at these images brings up a lot of emotions for me; I was uncomfortable in my body and trying to navigate the new life from the pandemic. Things seem to have regained their own new sense of normalcy and I've managed to win back a lot of my pre-pandemic healthy habits, like eating better foods and working out my mind and body.

Seeing this photoset also reminds me of my dire need to upgrade my lingerie selection... so much of it is still now too small (I figure I'll save those for clients now) and others just overshot. I find it easy to invest in other wardrobe for shoots like gowns and props because they're everywhere and readily available whereas with lingerie I typically have to hunt for (especially if you want quality, sustainability, and ethical practices). 

This month's docket consists of a few things thus far; today I'm completing a custom photoset for someone, tomorrow I'm hanging with friends, and then I need to set up and figure out my photoset for Valentine's Day. After all that, I have my mini tour back up to Nashville for a few days which I'm super excited for (can't wait to show you the king suite we're staying in!). 

Oh yeah! I've also managed to get a lot of work done on my little home studio project. Maybe I'll give ya'll a little tour when I get her looking a little more put together.
