Reminiscing over this gorgeous sunset from a beautifully memorable photoshoot up in Nashville in front of a neat looking church. This is the one and only time I had the pleasure of working with Chris, but I love looking back at these photos and thinking on this day; I got to model for so many of his unique vintage film cameras. I cannot remember all of them, but they were so cool! He even had one of those big medium format & full format cameras that require you to duck under the black cloth to block out the sunlight so you can see the image in front of you. He also had a digital with him; the photos here are a mix of different digital and still photos. Can you tell which are which? I wish I'd labeled all the different cameras he used. He also took some instant film during this session and let me keep a slide or two. I miss film so much! I really need to get another instax for fun and get brave enough to try my other film cameras lying around that have never seen use (by me, anyway). Film can be so expensive and time consuming... at least instant film is easy and fun.

Have you ever used a film camera? What kinds? Any favorites?

I'm really missing the road... partly because of the art and exploration, and partly the financial freedome it provides me. It's tough this winter; I remember last winter being tough, too. Ever since the pandemic, it has been a struggle, but I guess it always works out somehow. I'm often left questioning myself and my future... I don't know what it to come. I wish I could do more than just survive. These times aren't being to kind to many of us.

Remember to count your blessings and remind yourself of what you are thankful and grateful for.

Cheers. Let's see what 2023 will bring.

Stay warm this winter.
