Shots like these make me inspired to try more studio work in my photography, or at least experiment more with artificial lighting. I've grown so attached to natural lighting because it's light weight (lol) and cheap. I do have some lighting equipment - some needing repairs or additional parts and some I just haven't utilized as much as I should. I just love how glowy and smooth things can look with good artificial light. Makes me wanna try some self-portraits with a ton of baby oil and wet hair.

I can't wait to live in a bigger place, ideally a house. I have a little room here, but not as much as I'd prefer to really be able to call what I have a studio... but, we'll get there. I'm getting better at being inspired by others instead of intimidated or jealous.

I'm kind of missing touring, but I really needed this break. These are from last year's tour north up to Michigan. I've only been a few times, but I think I'll plan another trip there soon for 2023. It's pretty nice up north in the spring and summer. Before then, though, I really need to invest in some new wardrobe: both lingerie and flowy dresses. This year I've mostly just been focused on surviving, you know? Weird times. But it always seems to work out in the end.
