Throwback to when people actually did cool stuff with my hair! Haha. I really miss working with great hair and makeup artists; having skilled folks like them on board for your project can really be a game changer. I can do a little with hair and makeup, but not much... plus, I'm lazy, and I have way too much hair to deal with. Sarah was always a joy to work with; she'd roll with my ideas and I'd roll with hers. She ended up moving to India years ago, but she's been back in the states for awhile. We don't talk much anymore, but I'm super grateful for all the art we managed to create over the years. She's truly a phenomenal artist with makeup and hair!

I can't recall exactly what made this project come about. I think she just messaged me that she had a photographer coming to the salon for a fun project and she just wanted me to be the model. I don't think I really had any idea what I was stepping into, but the results were pretty rad! I have no idea what the actual concept was in mind at this point in time. Something dark and moody I suppose! I was only really happy with the first image at the time. It's still my favorite, but I can appreciate the others now, looking back. There's something about that first one though!

Unfortunately, I don't fit into this vintage corseted bottom or the black lacey bralette anymore. Grr! My hips and waist have expanded since then! I actually have that bralette in my "for sale" bag at the moment. The bottoms I think I still have around here and will probably keep; I think they were my mother's (okay, don't be weird!) a long time ago.

I have a hard time letting go of clothes. What about you? I managed to donate an entire trash bag full a few months back. Now I have a smaller bag I'd like to sell off for cheap. I'm sure I could make an entire new bag for both if I went through my closet again. Siiiigh. But then I have to find all the other stuff I sadly cannot squeeze into anymore, lol. Ah, well. C'est la vie! Just a reason to go shopping I guess!
