Last month I spent a few days up in North Carolina and had the opportunity to create at The Fruit in Durham again! If you're an artist in that area and you haven't utilized this venue yet, you've got to check it out! They offer so many diverse set ups and rooms as well as lighting equipment. During my half day session here, we started in the front "lobby" area along a white wall lined with white candles. Then, we moved over to the next room and took advantage of the piano that was currently set up on the stage. We also ventured upstairs and played around in a room full of paintings and vintage furniture and gorgeous natural light. Before the rain set in, we climbed up the steep staircase towards the roof where I stretched and posed across the skylights. These behind-the-scenes selfies here I shot near the end of the session when we descended to the basement and took advantage of the bar scene they're putting together. After that, we went into a dark, dimly lit adjacent room that was filled with antique lights and furniture and props. It had that old familiar nostaglic smell from the dust and days of old. Lastly, we exited the building downstairs and shot some nudes along the brick graffiti wall on the west side of the building. I may have even missed a few things, I don't know! It was 4 hours filled with so many different scenes and moods and lighting. I'll be sharing sets from this session soon on the $10 tier! Special thanks to TEB-Art for booking our session here.
