Downpour (Patreon)

New photos from one of my favorites to work with! Uriah Young, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and his wife Ada. I haven't had the pleasure of working with his wife, but Uriah has taken my breath away both of the times we have shot.

This past time a few months ago on my tour (this was the last shoot of tour, actually!), I was joined by Olivie @froggieapple. The forecast seemed questionable, so we didn't make any concrete plans. We considered cancelling but decided against it and I am so glad we did!

When Olivia and I arrived, we hung out on the porch for a while waiting for golden hour. We started on the side of his house in the overgrown brush, and then we decided... the roof! I don't think they'd ever shot on the roof before, and I don't think Olivia and I have ever done it before either. On top of that, the rain crashed down hard. This was my first ever rain shoot in my 7 years of modeling. I think it went better than I could have ever expected.

The rain crashed down on the roof heavy, and we were cold, but we embraced the moment and made some truly beautiful work.

I couldn't have asked for a better last shoot of tour as well as first shoot in the pouring down rain.

Sadly, but also excitingly, Uriah and Ava just sold this house and are planning to tour Europe. I can't wait to see what they do along the way! I wonder who is going to live in this house now, too. I wonder if they'll ever see the photos we did on the roof. :)
