Flashback to my first workshop post pandemic last year in October of 2020. Like a lot of us, I had put on weight during quarantine, and I think it really shows here; I was a bit self-conscious and I felt unpretty a lot of the time. However, I do quite like some of these, and the photographer is definitely talented. I think I have lost a bit of the weight at this point, but I am still not where I would like to be.

I know weight isn't everything; my pounds and inches are not what define me, my worth, or the extent of my talents. But when one of your careers involves your image, it's hard not to be a harsh critic on yourself at times.

Last year was really rough in more ways than the obvious. I almost felt like I was catapulted back to my mind and body from middle school.

I think I've managed to crawl back out, or at least start climbing with a grip.

That reminds me, I gotta go take my meds.

Good night from Chicago!
