Obviously I wasn't involved with prom (I never even went in high school), but I am kind of glad it was happening on this Saturday a few weeks ago!

Asia, owner of AVD Photography, found my work on Model Mayhem and sent me an inquiry regarding shooting; she does product photography, but was trying out portraits lately. She hired me for an hour and I got to meet a pretty rad MUA at the Goat Farm. Once I left there, I had to head to the square. It was hot and I was pretty sweaty walking to and from the park in different wardrobe (I hate changing in cars, but that's part of the gig sometimes).

This was outfit #1
We stood inside the pavilion at the top of the steps, in front of everyone in the park. Thankfully, as said, prom was happening, so there were other ladies there in gowns getting their photos taken as well. I think I stood out a bit more than them, but it helped me feel a little less anxious and seen!

My friend, Noel Malphoi (who you may recall seeing photos of here), actually saw me modeling there on her way to work and came to say hello. That was really awesome.

Have you ever done anything like this in public? Any of the arts in general?

Elegant, graceful, with a relaxed beauty. I didn't go to my prom, either.
