Back to my first trip to Roanoke, Virginia. As most of us American born people have, I heard about Roanoke a ton in school. I always thought it would be cool to visit there. The weird secrets of Roanoke still intrigue me.

I didn't stick around much when I visited; both times I have been, I only passed through to shoot with Jaylen and then I head on upward towards Richmond. But on this shoot, our first shoot, we started shooting downtown on a lovely bridge and then onto a rooftop. I don't get hired to do a ton of fashion, nonetheless street fashion, so that was really fun and enjoyable.

Afterwards, we came to his house and shot these in the woods in the backyard. It was so cold. I was not a happy camper, not to mention this was one of my first gigs after a big weight gain (ha, little did I know 2020 had even more in store for me!).

Maybe I'll get to go to Virginia again next year. I think this winter is a strong no. Sigh.

Are you excited for the holidays? Surprisingly, I really am, even though I wish I could travel and the world was safer.
