This shoot already seems so long ago even though it was just a few months ago. This was my first shoot with someone else after all the COVID mess hit us. My home state of Georgia has been deemed the most likely state to be exposed to the virus in - yay us, we just keep winning, huh?

But enough of that. I really dig the cozy vibes of this set; adorned in some jewelry and lingerie, but topped with a white simple tank... it gives me home-y good vibes. It reminds me of how beautiful we should feel even when we are just lounging on our couches in panties and a t-shirt. Sometimes it's hard to feel beautiful, especially during such incredible stress as we are all experiencing right now. If you can look in the mirror and smile and tell yourself some affirming words, it really helps. Sometimes the mirror can cause pain, too, I guess. I often wonder if I'd like my body better if it was the same shape, but the number on the scale just said something else. Would I like this body more if I was just told a lower number? Maybe. Who knows.

I wanna try taking some shots like this at home soon; I just got a new art deco type couch and with the right lighting it could really bring cool mood to the shots. It's hot pink with some of my black cushions I already had. We'll see what I can do.

Fun fact: I had to apply my makeup with only one brush on this day because I lost my brush set. That was fun, lol. Probably should deep clean that.
