Good morning! I'm sipping on a mocha latte at home and watching some YouTube, how are you doing? I can't believe it is the end of July already, this month really got away from me. Time is somehow flying by when everything else has essentially stopped. But slowly, I am returning to something I love.

Here for you I continue the Pottery Farm chronicles! This was the very first scene we stepped into as we entered the building from the west side through a broken glass door. I kept my red boots on for the rest of this shoot, which is odd for me, but probably a good idea. This was a new gown I had purchased from an amazing photographer at the beginning of the pandemic. I hope to work with her one day (shoutout to forty whacks). I'd not even tried the gown on before until this day - which means I also forgot that it had a broken zipper. Gotta get that fixed. But, I think it looks beautiful, regardless. I love the mood here.

These photos feel very ghostly and somber to me, but somehow an uplifting mood as well. Lots of emotions here. But it was soooo hot in there, I wasn't sure I could emotive anything but how sweaty I was!

I may need to take a trip to Commerce and see if this beauty is still there next month. If so, I need to do some photography of my own in it! I would love to get a dancer in there. Contemporary or ballet work would look so good.
