I'm supposed to return to Florida in August with my partner and his family for a week or two. We were supposed to go a few weeks back, until a death in the family occurred (not COVID related). It caused them to postpone, which I am now thankful for and I am currently unsure how safe I feel exploring there in August. I guess if we didn't go indoors much, it may be okay; just social distancing outside. But their numbers are scary.

I miss this day. I miss this location. I miss this feeling. This was shot during our trip to the Everglades in December. I'd never had such a nice warm new years. I miss the feeling of not worrying what stage the world will be in next. I miss the comfort of touring and financial security. I miss how worry free we were just months ago.... but I know change will come for the better.

This day was so fun. I had never been so far south! We left the Everglades for a day and drove down to Islamorada to meet and work with Ashleigh. We shot some in her home, which I posted months back. Afterwards, we left for a lovely little swim spot she knew of. I love the rocks and the palm trees.... I don't get that type of scenery up in the mountains of North Georgia!
