Before-and-After / Morgue N Marie (Patreon)

All of these photos had a lot of potential, but our lack of light and space made our improv shoot a little challenging; thus, my editing skill has been tested. For this effect, I touched up some skin in lightroom, bumped up the highlights and contrast, then moved into photoshop. 

There I played with some curve effects and brightness/contrast again, sharpened her eyes and smoothed a little more skin, and then threw on a bokeh overlay, lowered the opacity, and blended it out with an iris blur.

Finally I slapped a lighter, washed out preset on top of the photo to give it a uniform and airy feel. I went back into PS, used a photo filter and some gradients, blurred a little more, and bam. Finished product.
