Behold! Tis the second short story of the month! This one took a fair bit of doing since I had to reread all three of the previous entries, it had been so long ;-). Still, I think what I came up with is pretty solid! It's also pretty obvious where it's leading this time, which might or might not give it a better chance of winning the next poll!
