Progress Report (Patreon)

Whew! I'm alive! Hopefully, all of you survived your holidays too! I've actually been back to work on the Haven's Port update for the last day and a half or so, which was enough to give me at least a general idea of a timeline. Hence, progress report. 

So, the Good News is that everything is technically on schedule and if nothing goes wrong the release will come sometime on the 31st. The Bad News is that...the schedule is tight to get everything in that I want to. Not just the scenes, but a few fixes and overhauls that were really needed. The biggest one is allowing you to simply buy a chastity belt and wear it if you want. That proved to be a much bigger undertaking than I'd expected. The house of cards that is the way the Chastity system works couldn't really handle it...so I had to create an alternate layer of Haven's Port that you get shunted to if you use it in a voluntary manner. I'm just about done with the Port Island for that, but I'll need to spend several hours extending it to the Main Island and Rose Garden. There's also my desire to sneak in a fix so you can change your wardrobe on Jerta, which has been a bit of a problem since I first introduced the Beach House there. These two things are major quality-of-life additions I'm determined to get into this last build. Possibly a small update for the badly outdated tutorial too...

Right now, even with those extras, things are looking doable. However, it's sort of a case where if anything goes wrong, I'm going to end up with a delay. Not a large delay (unless something MAJOR goes pear-shaped), but a minor delay. In truth, I'd be shocked if the release overran more than two days, short of some sort of catastrophic life event or major PC malfunction. And there's still a pretty solid chance that the release will be on time. This is really just me setting expectations and making you all aware of the possibility of a delay. If all goes well, it will release on the 31st sometime in the early evening. If it doesn't...then I'd expect it on the first instead. Honestly, if it wasn't for the fact that I have to be somewhere for New Years Eve, I'd be more comfortable stating with certainty that it will be out that day. I do, though, so a small delay is possible. I'll probably throw up another Quick note on the 30th with a more accurate assessment...
