November Short Story (Patreon)

Alright! Short story is done. Remember, in an attempt to claw back from the Haven's Port major overrun this month, this is the only short story I'm doing for November :-). You lot also voted for me to surprise you with it! Which was fun, as it led to me dusting off one of my older ideas and giving it a shot. I previously hadn't tackled it as it is something of an experiment. The idea, you see, was for a setting, rather than a specific story. 

Essentially, this is the first story in that setting, but the setting itself is a sort of story hub. Unlike my other multiple-entry stories, this one is intended to feature different protagonists for every story, all of them living in the hub setting and having their own adventures/misadventures. It's a new experiment in my ongoing efforts to figure out better ways to both tell stories with actual story, while also getting to the kinky stuff, all within the limits of a short story format. 

Up until now, I hadn't tackled the idea because I hadn't sorted out how to introduce the setting. This story is a way to sort of ease into it and start forming the overall picture, while still including a bit of kinky adventure. That does, I'm afraid, mean there's a little bit less of a sex focus than other stories in the setting will feature. But it's still there. I tried to find a balance between needs, which was the whole reason I hadn't introduced the idea previously. How well I did so...well, that's up to you guys, gals, and others ;-). Additional stories in the setting would need less exposition, and thus contain more of the fun sexy times!
