October Poll Results (Patreon)

Okay! Poll results time...mostly! As I made clear in the poll itself, because the Haven's Port/Holiday Poll is about December's content, I will let it run through the end of the month. The Short Story and Mixed Media Short polls came to a close at midnight last night, however, so time to cover the results of those!

Well! By the time poll weighing was done, the results were certainly hilariously unambiguous! Andrea of the Silver Key took more votes than the next two stories combined. Talk about a comeback story with that...er...story! From not being updated for a year+, to winning two months in a row! Since the Poll Story is the next thing on my to do list, I'll likely get started on it tomorrow :-).

Mixed Media Short Poll

-_-. This, on the other hand, had a ridiculous outcome. It came out as a three way tie. Improbable as is was, each story got exactly 33% of the vote. Note that, because it was tied, I explicitly refrained from voting in the poll myself. That means that I can simply cast my own vote, I suppose, to pick form between them...not that there's much of an alternative.

Part of me wanted to jump back into Virtual Trap, since that's the story that's more story, and I enjoy working on it the most. Unfortunately, I hesitated to do that because of how much time/focus I'm putting on the last Full Haven's Port build this month. The Virtual Trap is by far and away the most time consuming of the three stories. That leaves A Bet Maid and Xanadu Emporium and, after some debate, I decided I'd give Xanadu Emporium the victory this time. 

This wasn't without reason. Technically, A Bet Maid would actually have been easier. But since I just recently shifted the description/direction of Xanadu Emporium to be much closer to the Silas Station model, I felt actually doing one on that model while I have the chance would be for the best. That way everyone had a frame of reference for the slightly new direction going forward. 

For those reasons, Xanadu Emporium will be the Mixed Media Story updated this month!
