Okay! Given that Left Hand Magic is the only reward/release left in the month, I'll dive into it in a moment. Unless something goes wrong, this will likely be the last progress report before it's released, so...

Left Hand Magic

So far, the work on it is going pretty well. I'm a tiny bit behind where I'd hoped to be, but not enough so to be worried about the deadline yet. Programming is about 95% finished (really, just a few tweaks and minor additions that need doing). And I've written the first of the six scenes. I should have a second one done before I crash in a few hours, as well. To be honest, I was hoping to have three done today/tonight...but I, uh...got slightly more ambitious than originally intended with the first one? Oops. I realized I had the chance to do a bit more with the scene than I'd first thought, and the changes didn't need any additional rendering. Just a bit more programming and writing. So I went ahead and did it, even if it cost me an extra hour or so. That did throw off how much I'd expected to get done tonight. But, with the weekend coming up, I think it should be fine despite that. I typically get more done on the weekends than the weekdays, even if not by much.

Right now, unless I run into unexpected problems or major life issues, I'm expecting an on time release. Probably late night on the 31st. But technically on time! So, yay! I'm really going to push for that, at least, as I want as much time to work on a big Haven's Port build next month as I can get. That and generally wanting to nix the creeping delay that's been building up over the months again. It seems like I have to do that once every six months or so -_-. I have too much of a bad habit of overreaching, wanting to make as big of builds as possible. Though, on the flipside, that does mean you guys and gals tend to get more total content than you would if I didn't have that bad habit. Even if you suffer through a few days of delay here and there. Given the delays are never very long, I'd like to hope that's a decent trade off :-p.
