July - Short Story Poll (Patreon)

Okay. So, there's a bit more to say here. Mostly because I'm going to warn everyone outright that the second short of the month is actually going to be a piece that's actually intended for the Fanfiction Patreon I've mentioned a few times. I have absolutely got to get that thing up and running this month, in order to give it a month or two to see if it will help alleviate my funding issues. If it doesn't, I'm going to have to seek out more contract work again...which would, frankly and bluntly, mean cutting back on how big I can make the builds of Left Hand Magic and Haven's Port. I'm sorry, but that's simply reality. With the sharp increases in cost of living the last couple of years, things are getting a lot worse for me, not better :-(.  

Currently, by the time I pay for assets, online storage, website, and other overhead...this patreon makes up only about 40% of what I actually need to meet my needs, modest though they are. At best. Which means I need to do other work. I cut back on that other work (I LOATHE the contract stuff I'm currently doing, it's poorly paid and zaps my will to live) in January to see if I could make a go at running two Patreons simultaneously, without taking away from this one. Unfortunately...I proceeded to use a lot of the time freed up on making more stuff for Haven's Port and Left Hand Magic. It's how I've been able to routinely produce bigger builds than I was a year ago.

Obviously, I can't keep doing that unless this Patreon suddenly takes a big leap forward in popularity. It's been slowly and steadily growing for the last couple of years. But...not nearly fast enough to count on that fact. That means something has to give. One of the things I can and am doing is essentially 'cheating' on the 2nd short story for this month. That way, I'm using the time for both this and the new Patreon I'm trying to launch. The Left Hand Magic build might also be slightly smaller than the last couple have been. As I said, I've reached a point where something has to give. And I'd really really really it rather not be me having to go find more contract hours doing stuff I hate. Please bear with me as I try to figure it out :-(.

There's plenty of eyecandy around to pick from! Time to really start playing with those Challenges for Gwen and Commands for Sandra...

Alyia and the Magic Shop: With things going so well at the shop recently...it's time to tackle some of the more dangerous sections that still have yet to be tamed. Surely, with Lyriel along as back up, nothing will go wrong...right? RIGHT?

Lilith's Story (Part 3): Lilith gifted Iris with her dream shuttle...if one that's in very battered condition. The next slice of life series for the two of them will follow their progress as they slowly work toward restoring the ship. And toward figuring out just what to do with it once they have it flying! It will also shift focus back to the romance between them, rather than outside sources, so if you want to see some romance between them this is the time for that ;-).

Eros Academy - Taming Violet: Aria's and Violet are together now! Only Aria isn't quite sure she was ready for just how enthusiastic Violet can be. Hopefully, a few more join sessions at the Academy can help her get a handle on Violet? Otherwise she might have to ask her moms for advice...which would be embarrassing as hell. And they might not want to let Violet go once they meet her, besides...

The Starship Promise - Rimward Bound: Ash now has a Navigator, Hydroponics Expert, and Engineer! With their last needed crew member being a gunner/security expert, they start heading Rimward. After all, the closer they get to the Rim, the more likely they are to find someone qualified for that sort of position. Note! This story will have a follow-up poll if it wins! I don't have a specifically defined plan for the final crew member's particular kinky interests. As such, if this wins I'll run a quick secondary poll to let people vote on what kink they'd like the last girl to have. Is she a cosplay fanatic? Someone who enjoys being given hypnotic commands? Does she have a kinky set of implants? Or perhaps she's got an entire collection of leashes and likes spending her time crawling around on all fours...
