Feb Short Story - Magic Pearls (Patreon)

Alright! Sorry this is a few hours later than I'd intended. I've been waiting for a render to finish for hours so I could actually launch a browser without the computer screaming bloody murder. Stupid thing is actually still running, I just gave up and throttled the amount of processor it's allowed long enough to post this.

Anyway...this is the non-poll short story for the month. In what honestly should be expected from me by now, I got slightly experimental, using a dual-perspective of the same events in a way I hadn't tried before. I think it came out pretty decent, though I'm not sure how often I'd want to repeat it. It's not as natural a way of writing for me, even if I think it worked out.
