So, obviously my warning about the release being at least a day late has come true. I wanted to post a quick notice here though, as something unforeseen has put it at risk of being a bit more than a day. I did what should have been a smart thing and ordered out last night for food, so that I could go into full blown crunch mode, hoping to release this AM, just a few hours past the deadline.

Sadly...that turned out to be a mistake. Despite ordering from a pretty nice place, I ended up with a pretty nasty case of food poisoning. Nasty enough that I only barely got through my regular day-job stuff last night and I'm still feeling not-so-good. 

There's a pretty good chance that this won't actually matter that much. Part of the reason I was confident in the one-day-delay-only thing was that I actually have the entirety of today (Saturday the 1st) completely free of day-job stuff. A rare thing that generally only happens when a weekend happens to coincide with the first couple of days of the month. That means I have all of today to knock out the remaining few scenes of writing, and get the testing done. That means there's a solid chance I'll still release the game withing that 1-extra-day window.

I was, however, expecting to only need to do the testing and about half the editing today. I was supposed to have buttoned up the writing last night. And three of the five scenes I have left to write are longer ones. Net result? It's possible the delay might stretch into the second. Unless something else happens, I don't expect it to be longer than that. And there's a strong chance it'll still be out late this evening. But I still wanted to throw up a quick explanation. Sorry folks :-(.
