Progress Report + Poll Results (Patreon)
Content
Okay! Was going to do this yesterday, but the Short Story Poll wasn't actually finished, so it was better to wait. Well, at least I think it was. On a somewhat related note, a reminder! I now have a twitter going, which I put bits and bobs of information on, including some renders and such that I actually don't put here. If you want more frequent updates on what I'm doing than my progress reports every 3-4 days here, you can follow me there.
Now, Poll Results first!
Haven's Port Focus Poll: I was actually a bit surprised how overwhelming the result was, with Adding Depth being the overwhelming winner at 88% vs just 12% for adding new areas. I'm actually not completely sure what to make of that. Regardless, I've mapped out my goals for the month with the focus you guys chose.
The Brothel will get the bulk of the content again, including some Futa support for those who like that (though it won't be the primary focus by any means, so don't worry if you don't). In addition, I've also got 4 Market area random encounters mapped out. Two of which have renders in the images of the post. The Thief event is actually a bit more complex, so will probably be counted as at least 2 full events (thought I'm not counting it that way when I say I have 4 events mapped). And the other is already done, though it took a day longer than typical as I also had to build one of the new areas of the game anyway, though with the voting going the way it did, it won't feature in any other content just yet.
Just for future reference, said area is the Adventurer's Mart in town, pictured above. It's an original scene of mine and I don't think it came out too badly.
Short Story Poll - A reminder! This is a weighted poll, so results don't always match up to what the poll looks like. Here's the final tallies for this month:
Galactic Nomad - 42.5
Transformation Estate - 25
Mass Effect: Final Error - 20
Station 11 - 2.5
Harry Potter Shorts - 0
I honestly can't say I'm sad that the HP shorts didn't get any votes. It was done an effort at an easy story to help me catch up from a couple of months of running behind. I didn't hate it, but it didn't allow me to tell much actual story. On the other hand, I'm actually quite pleased with how Transformation Estate did, so much so that I've decided to make it the second story of the month (and, in fact, already have 1,000 words of it as I got a little inspiration from playing a bit of a game called Student Transfer over at TF Games). But, as was sort of predicable, Galactic Nomad easily took the actual win from the poll! And I've got a very good feel for what I want to do with it, which I think people will like. It's my small twists on another common adult sci-fi concept.
Depending on how well my inspiration for Transformation Estate holds out, I may actually finish it first. But, either way, I'm honestly hoping to actually get them both out this month for once. The fact that it's a 31 day month should help with that!
Comic Poll - Only two people actually voted *sweat drops* so....Starworld wins! I just started on the first render for it today.
I'm beginning to feel like I may have to revisit whether the comics are a good reward. I'd hoped that people would like them, but the enthusiasm has been distinctly underwhelming. Don't worry, I won't cancel them without warning, but I might put up a poll or two to see if people are actually reading them/actually like them. I also may put them up for sale on Gumroad or similar as well, to see if doing so may defray the costs. Unfortunately, they usually cost me around $40-60 a month in new assets to make, which is part of why I'm struggling to keep justifying them at this point.

Progress Report!
Alright, I definitely haven't been idle!
Haven's Port - So far, I've only go 1.5 scenes finished. That said, this was mostly because of the previously mentioned need to build the Adventurer's Mart, which will now be usable in the future when I need it. Also, that .5 scene is the Thief scene in the Market, which is far more complex than usual for Haven's Port. Specifically, it's going to allow multiple actions with the poor thief to choose from. As each action will only have 2 renders, I'm not quite willing to call them full scenes in and of themselves, but there's intended to be at least 4 possible actions. Meaning 8 renders plus the core starting render. So, around 2 full scenes worth of content going by render count. Hopefully, I'll have it done tonight and move on to my usual target of trying to finish an average of one scene per day.
Wallpapers - This is the other reason I haven't gotten very far on Haven's Port yet, as I decided to knock these out up front this month. Both of the wallpaper renders for this month are done and just waiting for me to find a bit of spare time to do post-processing on them, as well as add any text! I should be able to post them sometime in the next couple of days.
Short Stories - As I mentioned, I've actually gotten a start on Transformation Estate already, so hopefully we'll be seeing this earlier in the month than usual. And I've got at least a solid outline to work with for the next Galactic Nomad.
Comic - Since I couldn't start on this until the poll finished, I'm afraid I only just started on the first Starworld Part 3 today. That said, I spent some time yesterday mapping out the renders and assets I would need. So I've got my plan in place and the first render is whirring away as I type.
