Progress report time! Actually meant to post this yesterday, in fact, but spent most of yesterday and part of today wrestling with Daz3d. Near as I can tell, an update brought back an old issue, causing me to lose several renders and others to run long. Thankfully, I eventually realize what was going on and applied a fix I'd come up with back when this happened before. So, while I lost some time, maybe as much as a day or so, it's not too serious. But, anyway, poll results and progress reporting!

Poll Results

Haven's Port Focus Poll: This one was a runaway, which was pretty clear from the start, so I've effectively been acting on it already. You guys and gals made it abundantly clear that you wanted depth first, so that's what you're getting! All the updates for the month are going to be focused on just two areas, the Brothel and the Market. And the vast majority will actually be just the Brothel, giving a fairly good dive into the depth planned there. The brothel is one of the single largest planned areas in the entire game, so it won't be anywhere near complete, but it will have a solid start. And, really, the fact that it IS one of the biggest single areas in the game makes it pretty perfect for this depth-first approach.

Short Story Poll:This was...actually also a runaway. Though that fact wasn't obvious until I applied the weighting to the poll. All of the Royalty Tier members that voted, voted for the same option, tipping the scaled heavily in favor of The Galactic Nomad. Though, even in the unweighted version of the poll, that story won (albeit barely). As such, it will be getting updated...after I've updated Mass Effect: The Final Error, at least. The final weighted poll tally was as follows:

Andrea of the Silver Key: 45.5 (I voted for this one, giving it a bit of a boost)

Transformation Estate: 18 (Yikes!)

Galactic Nomad: 70.5

Progress Reports!

Haven's Port: It's going...well? I think? So far I've only finished 3 actual sex scenes, which sounds super low. However, the reason for that is all the time I've put into area creation and establishing-shot type renders. The market scene seen in the images for the post (please remember all of those images are without post work done!) for example. Building that sucker, almost from scratch (not the models, but all of the placement) took pretty much a full day. A bit more than that, actually. Though I'm quite pleased with the result!

I'm actually up to about 25 total renders as a result, it's just that only 12 of those are sex-scene related. So...yeah. Still, I've only got two more locations to build and one of those will be dead easy, so the speed of getting sex scenes done should pick up in a few days.

Starworld Part 2 Comic: This is going fairly well, given the later than normal start on it. I've got 8 renders done for it, with at least one more that should be done today. Comics have been running around 20 total renders, so I'm roughly halfway. Maybe a little less, since there's a moderate chance this one will have more renders than the previous comics. Not by a lot, though. Either way, there's a pretty solid chance this will be out by the 20th or so.

Short Story: I've managed to pry loose the time to reread over all of Mass Effect: Final Error, and will be spending another hour or two going over my notes and mapping the new content out tonight. The reason I need to do this is that, frankly, we hit a point in the story where originally I'd basically just written 'side quests!' in my notes. Along with a few things I wanted to be accomplished during that time frame. Unfortunately, this means I need to winnow through a bunch of the Mass Effect side quests, which I only half-remember, and pick out a 2-3 to use in the story. Which is going to be less easy even than that already sounds, as I've made enough changes to the timeline already to invalidate virtually all the Cerberus-involved side quests, as well as a number of others. So...yeah. Need to do a couple of hours of planning before I can actually start putting word on a page. The goal is to start doing so tomorrow, hopefully knocking out a couple thousand words since Sunday is the one day I don't work day job stuff.

Wallpapers: I've got these planned out, but haven't even started on them. They take up a considerable amount of render-time due to being 4k, so they are low-priority at that moment.
